Built in 1888, the Oceanside Pier is one of the longest wooden piers in the country. You can explore local history at the California Surf Museum before you head out wakesurfing on your boat, or you can simply drop your line in the water and catch something delicious for dinner.

Marina Del Rey

The core of Los Angeles’ boating scene is Marina Del Rey, which has an impressive 6,000 slips for small boats. You can visit the oceanfront shopping district of Fisherman’s Village or try one of the dozens of dining options for lunch or dinner.
